On Tuesday, the Republican Party of New Mexico submitted to the Secretary of State the official Republican Primary ballot with Elisa Martinez as the top of ticket choice for U.S. Senate. This Saturday, Elisa WON the Republican Pre-Primarcy Convention amongst a crowded field of candidates — earning 35% of the vote and the number one spot on the ballot in June. Only one other candidate qualified to appear on the ballot below Martinez.

The results send a clear message to New Mexico Republicans voting in June’s primary that Elisa Martinez is the strongest Republican candidate for U.S. Senate , and the ONLY candidate who can beat Ben Ray Lujan in November. With Elisa Martinez leading the top of the ticket, New Mexico Republicans finally have the chance to turn the state RED — a key priority for the Trump reelection campaign.

Since announcing her U.S. Senate campaign, Elisa Martinez has attracted national media attention and gained broad support as a candidate willing to speak out on the issues most important to New Mexicans.
